Yes, and no signup is required. The tool runs on REME's OCR engine, the same engine we use for our business customers. There is a rate limit (typically 10 scans per hour per session) to prevent abuse. For unlimited scanning and integration into your expense workflow, our paid product is the way.
JPEG, PNG, and PDF. Maximum file size 10 MB. If you have a receipt in a different format (HEIC from an iPhone for example), save it as JPEG first.
Multi-language including Hindi, Mandarin, Bahasa, Tamil, Arabic, and others. All extraction is native, not translated from English. If the receipt is bilingual, we extract the primary language and note the secondary language in the response.

No. Free scans are processed and discarded. We do not retain the image or the extracted data after the scan completes. For our paid business customers, receipts are stored in their company's REME account with encryption in transit and at rest.
